here is my old sporty that I did one on.
now this photo contradicts what I just proposed, but notice the two pegs are level across.
it works this way, because the rear arm is much longer than the one for this application.
so if you flip it, the rear peg is above the shifter and the front remains the same.
make sense?

Different strokes for different folks ... or as my dear departed mother used to say "What a dull world this would be if we all liked the same things ... " But I hate heel shifting .... first thing to go is the heel shifter on my touring bikes. I find it much easier to just flick my toe than to pick up the whole effin' foot ... but that's just me ... everybody else should just do whatever works for them .....
