I never did pictures of mine, but I put one on.
I had to use a dremel tool and trim the bottom edge a fair bit, but can't even tell. Mine is on my 17' FXDLS. If you gotta trim just use blue painter tape on the front and go slow
I used the HD brackets, it's a hard fit to get on the bike but it works and lines up.
For me it was worth saving the $$$

I made my own anti buffeting kit identical to JD customs. It did nothing to fix the buffeting issues. The root of the problem is the recurve windshield. It creates a ton of unwanted turbulence
