Default Little help with Street Bob front suspension (what do I have)?

What is this suspension? Any info on it? And last but not least, any oil recommendations?

Was tearing down my, new to me, 2012 and was surprised to find this.

Thank you. I thought the spacer tube might be OEM but didn't realize that OEM had the short section of spring at the bottom.

Interesting that it doesn't show a spacer tube like I have.

Years back Race Tech was using V-Rod springs in 49mm Dyna forks...only progressive spring they had for a street application at the time.
Could be what you have.

It's number 8, although Not sequenced correctly

With a thread Title like that, I was expecting something different other than what 99.9% of all Dynas have

BTW, that part illustration is a good example of the parts sometimes NOT being accurate (visually) ... Ever see a Slider #13 like that?

.

Now that makes more sense. Being this is the first front end I tore apart and from the manual and what I've seen, in internet searches, that spacer tube didn't make sense. Now that I can see the diagram is not truly drawn the way it should be it makes sense.

So let that be a lesson to you ... don't rely 100% on the parts illustrations and Svc Manuals being accurate. Tough for people that have had no exposure to something particular before
