Default 2006 Street Bob Question

I have a 2006 Street Bob with 30k on it...love the bike. I am reading the TC88 HD put on the 06 Dyna's have the upgraded cam tensioners and do not need the attention that the 99-05 TC88's do. Am I correct on this? Just trying to be preventative...thx!

2006 Dynas also have the stator rotor problem. The screws need to be welded on.

What are the symptoms/signs of the inner primary bearing going bad?

From what I have read you will hear a grinding type noise (like old school roller skates with those metal wheels). It will get louder over time. I think the noise will go away when you pull in the clutch while idling the bike in neutral.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I have an 07 stator in my 2006, that solves that problem.

that is absolutely correct. there's a grinding type sound that comes from the primary in neutral and when you pull the clutch, it goes away.
