Default Dead Center Cycles Road Captain T-bolt clamp issue

I bought the Dead Center Cycles Road Captain for my 2014 Dyna Street Bob (49mm fork) and received the T-bolt clamp 94100-0188. When I screw in the gold nut, two big and one small washers and acorn nut, it is only 43mm, can not fit. Do you have this issue. I have email DCC and send photo to show but DCC insist that it will work and do not want to responsible for it. Do you have this issue?

Everything stretches as those T-bolt clamps get torqued down. Properly sized ones can be a real pain to even get started. Get them on the bike before deciding they're too small.

Here's a fellow member's install thread...

Fully extended with the gold nut just started on the threads is close to 55mm or 2.25 inches plenty of space to fit. Get them on the bike and give it a go.

It can’t fit with the nut loose and open up. I have bought another T-bolt cramp 48mm - 56mm then it can fit for the Road Captain fairing. It’s necessary to have 56mm or longer so that the T-bolt screw is long enough to get the fairing bracket to screw in.

When fully open, 94100-0188 only 49mm, can’t fit in. I bought another T-bolt cramp 48mm to 56mm then can fit the fairing.
