Default Fox rc1 13.5” shocks and Two bros comp s exhaust

Any reviews or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
looking to upgrade my 06 street bob.
i just got out of rockets/supermoto and i am lookin to rip up rockets in the twisties and wheelie.
ive heard great things about the progressive 970 but lm assuming the fox’s would be better.
and anyone rocking the two bro exhaust?

Well I hate to break it to you, but you wont be ripping up rockets.

Although with better suspension, a good front motor mount/ stablizer, and some engine work you'll be able to stay with the guys who can actually ride a rocket to 90% of its potential on curvy roads.

And I'd avoid Progressive suspension all together. Joke of a company to deal with and their products are grossly over priced for what you get compared to the likes of Fox, Hagon, and Ohlins. I hated my Progressive shocks I had for all of 300ish miles on my bike and I went back to stock for the time being. the dampening was horrible and the springs were god awfully stiff. and after multiple attempts at dealing with their customer service they're not helpful.

Progressive had a good five year run, and then it seemed like the company went downhill.

I was thrilled with my first set of progressive shocks on my softail, when I "upgraded" they had gone to ****.

I’ve already ran guys with rockets up our local “snake road” . that was with my Stock Softail can’t wait till the this season with the dyna. But i know I will get spanked when the road is straight but going straight is boring.

Talked to some guys at harley dealer nobody even heard of the fox shocks. I am probably going going to pull the trigger on them, i had fox on other toys and loved them.

So would you recommend the two bros? Or spend a little more and go bassani?

Ya know I like the two bros look and sound. I'm still stock on my 17' until my warranty runs out.

I've listened to em both and I like the 2 bros sound better. you sure hear it when ya get on it!

My old night train had hooker troublemaker exhaust, it was just plain loud. looked good, but was too loud.

Hate to say that I like the sound of stock right now.

the only other thing I thought about doing was the fuel moto black 2-1 exhaust. but I have another year to think about it

Two bros sound is unique I ran it for a couple months then swapped it out for a bassani rr3. The bassani Is more loud at every rpm. Fox are good shocks from what I’ve heard but I personally run ohlins. Odc suspension is an up and coming premium suspension brand that you should not overlook. Piggy backs for 1000 compared to ohlins at 1300-1400

You need to pick your battles. Light to light straights you should beat most sport bikes (if you've got the proper mods) vs freeway at high speed you wouldn't stand a chance.

Here is an example, plenty more all over youtube...
