Arlen Ness Big Rotor Kit on an FXDWG
#3
From my cold dead hands; I'll never go back to an OEM rotor. You will notice the difference; couple the Big Brake with Lyndall pads, upgraded front suspension, quality tires, and some time practicing your braking and you will be very impressed with the level of control and performance you have
Remember, braking all comes down to that contact patch; the Big Brake is a piece of the solution to maximum braking performance...

There's a solid increase in breaking with the ness BBK and the stock pad and rotor setup isn't the best that it could be.
I loved it when i tried it with lyndall pads. love it so much that it did it on my sportster and then doubled down on both bikes by going dual disk with ness BBKs. my bikes STOP!!
the stock brakes on the FXDWG got me into trouble a few times be cause the they didn't slow fast enough and and i'd over-shoot turns. going bbk up front helps with the single disk but, upping the rear with better pads and using both brakes and practicing with deliver even more gains.
i hate those videos.....
