Damn. These Colony Bolts and Washers are what I'm using for the new pulley. I hope it's all good. So? Should I use red or blue loctite on the threads?

I use RED loctite on my front & rear sprockets - I'm running 530 O-Ring chains and Sprockets on my 89 FXR,2001 FXDX Super Glide Sport & 2003 FXDL Anniversary Lowrider . I'd have GLADLY sent you a set of them with the washers for free if I caught this thread earlier .They are the stock H-D rear pulley bolts .If anyone else reads my reply I'd be happy to donate em because I dont need them.I also have all the front & rear pulleys and belts that are collecting space in my parts bins. Feel free to email or message me .

These types of bolts are one. And done! Meaning you should not reuse them. To the guy that did...good luck with that cause it’s only a matter of time before they fail no matter how much or kind of lock tight you use...

The ARP bolts are the way to go...

Just an aside to the thread in general : i've *BEATEN* My rear belts and pulleys to DEATH before switching to 530 O-Ring chains and sprockets and never had a failure . The ARP rear pulley bolts are way cool and can withstand alot. But I've never broken a bolt or belt on my H-Ds or pulley bolts before replacing them with Sprocket Bolts that came with my ZIPPERS PERFORMANCE Sprockets ,Chain,Spacers & Bolt package . *IF* ANYONE needs the pulleys, belts or bolts that I no longer use....you can have em for FREE . Email or massage me . I HAVE NO USE FOR THEM .

I like your thinking here. What I am stuck on is the length of the ARP kit. I'm installing a 70t 40576-06 pulley onto a '14 FXDWG. So the total depth should be the same as stock. Is there room in my hub for all that extra length on the ARP or will they bottom out?
