Default Did I just end up with a LEMON ?

I bought in 2017 a used FLD 18,285 103+
Since then I have dealt with one thing after another
Current issues are
Oil leaking from the air filter & switches going out
The L turn signal & H beam lights went out about 6 months after I bought it
The oil leaking started about 8 months ago
I took it in to the mechanic who worked on it for the other owner & was told it's normal ??
Now the LH Switch Module has decided I need all 3 lights on not just the low beam
This is my 1st HD to own & not making a good impression on me about owning one

Ain't an indian motorcycle fan
Just I always thought that Harleys were worth owning so I found one, but it hasn't lived up to the "Made In America" idea ??
I have spent way more $$$$ on repairs on my FLD then any other motorcycles I have owned
Too old for a crotch rocket again
The performance (power) has been what I was wanting just things on it seem to fall a part & the mechanic who worked on it for the previous owner isn't much help
So I thought maybe I might find some answers in this site ?

Depending on mileage you should still have warranty

I'm the 2nd owner & 32,000 it's a 2012 FLD so bet the warranty is long gone by now
Had 18,285 when I bought it 03/2017

That is on the list of trying before I put it back on the market
Hate to sell it, but just ain't rich enough to afford to keep it if things keep going
The new LH Switch Module is $286 from my local dealership
To replace the strip with the lights form H beam turn signals oil etc is like $300
Not spending $300 just to replace the L turn & H beam lights bulbs

$300 to change lightbulbs?? I hope I'm reading that wrong...

Could be wrong on this but oil in the air cleaner isn't unusual, depending on your breather setup...

Guarantee you can find a used switch housing on ebay and such for cheaper than buying a brand new part at the dealer, but I'd be more concerned about any suspect wiring done by the previous owner and this "mechanic"...aftermarket handlebars

Sounds to me like you bought a bike with a sketchy past and a sketchy mechanic...cut your losses and pick yourself up a better bike...
