I was just going to tape it off and leave it, but noticed a lot of molding marks on the inside that I wanted to sand down. Once I sanded down I knew I had to paint so I painted it the same color as the base coat on the front.

I finally got mine painted and installed. Raining to beat hell here in MN so no rides yet.

So as everyone said... The recurve shield is terrible! So much buffeting.

How did yall choose the height of your replacement shield?

I used the height of the windshield I liked and subtracted the measurement from the lip of the headlight hole to the edge of the windshield mounting position.

Anyone have the clear windshield? Any problems riding at night with the tint??

Nope, don't have any issues riding at night with a clear windshield. Those two questions together don't make much sense.

I've had both.

No issues riding at night with the tinted version.

I actually blacked out my clear one with plasti dip before switching over to a 18" tinted.

You shouldn't be looking thru the windshield. You should be looking over it.

LOL....no they don't!

I want to buy the fairing with the light tinted windshield. Just wondering if is provides good visibility at night?
Otherwise, I will buy the fairing with the clear windshield.
