For you folks who have had this fairing on a while... How is the buffeting? Any regrets?

No regrets here and I've had mine on for a couple of months. It's solid as a bastard. The ONLY thing I don't like is the recurve windshield. It creates a little buffeting at 70+mph. A different windshield will get rid of it

Any idea what other windshields would fit this fairing?

1 more question for you Boosted. What are you using for riser bushings? Rubber, Poly or Solid?

Has anybody tried painting this fairing?

I have one coming and I'm not sure how it'll look on my black denim Streetbob.

I have had the same thought. I have a Brilliant Silver Street Bob and don't think a black fairing would look good on it. Paint would be needed.

Paint holds just fine, just don't take it for a slide...

@DynaKid94 Are you a San Diego local? I've seen you around the forums for the past few years and it sounds like you're running this fairing. I have an fxdx so I'm gonna have to drill my triple clamp and was wondering if I could find someone local running the Krator. I already got all my **** for it but just want a more accurate vision of how this thing mounts before putting holes in my scoot.
