1995 Heritage Evo engine starter ring & starter gear breakage have replaced 4 in 12,000 miles! What could be causing this? Engine has stock pistons & Screaming Eagle heads 9.0 comptrssion ratio!
1995 Heritage FLSTN stock pistons & Screaming Eagle Heads! Have replaces starter ring & starter pinion gear 4 times in last 12,000 miles, any ideas as to what is causing this failure.

Welcome to the forum and check the EVO board for some help with your Evo.
Here's a suggestion, condense the problem in the new thread block, i.e " Going through starter and ring gears, 4 in 12K miles" then in the next box describe the problem, what you have done and include year of bike , model etc. Again, welcome.
