Should be a mix. Just finished pulling the front end of an 09 dyna apart for new fork oil and springs and alot of metric sized fasteners.

Make sure you take it easy and use wd40 if a bolt it giving you trouble. On the 09 his was the first time the front end was taken apart in years and some of the bolts were in really tight. Take your time and dont strip any of the bolt heads. You got it.

The reason the front end is metric is that it is a Showa forks etc....made in Japan.

Almost all the other bolts will be SAE.....

For some reason the rear axle bolt as well as some of the frame fasteners are metric as well. Most will be sae but it doesnt hurt to have metric sized tools available.

Screws for battery post = 10mm. Most are standard as mentioned.
