I have noticed that, when idling, the rear fender and tire are shaking from side to side. There's only one bearing and no rubber bushings, though.
The rear fork has a dust cover and spacer on the right side, and a pivot bearing and an interference fit spacer on the left; the pivot shaft runs through the transmission boss which makes the rear fork/wheel a part of the isolator system. Think of the front and rear mounts as a knife edge that relies 100% on the top stabilizer for vertical alignment.
As @Kingglide549 pointed out, vertical alignment is important and often overlooked...

You are quite confused-
But we are here to help.
If you have a swing arm, you have an inner bushing on each side.
Like i said I would bet it is shot
How do you know?
Simple- I will type it all out of you want-let me know
According to the microfiche at Ronnie's there is only one bearing on the left side. It's possible that that could be defective. Only way to know is pull it and see.

That pivot bearing does take some abuse, it seems. I changed my original out 2 years ago, and when I pulled the rear fork again a few months back during my conversion to a trike I could see it was getting a bit sloppy again. The spacer on the left side is an interference fit; you can knock it out of the pivot bearing with a properly sized socket but once you press in the new pivot bearing you'll need to press in the spacer.
I had to go through and re-verify that my vehicle/engine and vertical alignment was accurate after I completed the conversion; this girl has a whole 'lotta backside, now
