fair points, but not sure how comfortable on a long jouney that would be with the rear shock movement reduced
unless you have 2 bikes, then you are always going to be limited on what you can do, versus what you would like to do. aesthetics quite often doesnt go with rider comfort unfortunately

I am going to start with the engine. I am purchasing all the wrinkle black items to convert that portion of the bike first. After the weather gets colder I will start working on the tins, tank, and covers moving those to flat black. The smaller stuff like the controls and forks will be as I get the time type thing. Thats the plan as of right now. It will going into the garage in the winter in the original look and come out in spring with the new look.

@SpectraVoice it is starting out as a nice bike but in the end it will be exactly what I want in a bike. I always wanted a nice Dyna that was converted into a true solo. My 883 Iron was nice and it was a solo but lacked the power. This bike has the bigger 88cu motor and nice 5 speed trans, it is gonna be a nice bike for sure!
