I switched over to a Brembo 15RCS on my bike. They make one for a 1 inch bar as well as a 7/8 which is the most common. The master swap was pretty straight forward. The light switch on the other hand wasn't so simple. Harley programmed their canbus system to work opposite of the rest of the world. The switch supplied by Brembo left the light on when the lever was released and turned off when the lever was pulled in. I also didn't have any luck with the pressure switch. I ended up getting part # 7779k43 from McMaster Carr I attached it with some VHB from 3m and it's been holding strong for 4 years.

Yeah that was one of the things I feared. I see what you did there! No other ideas on “tricking” the system?

Can try to find someone that can reprogram it I guess. I thought about that but it's deeper then the dealer can or is willing to go. Not sure if it will mess up other things in the process.

I love the stuff I see on the forum... Who would ever expect a two-foot sissy bar, apes... and a Brembo radial master cylinder. Total awesomeness!

I run a brembo rcs19 on my bike (same as union53’s but for a dual disc system) it comes with a neat brake light switch that snaps into the bottom of the master housing for a clean look. If you have a NON canbus system the supplied switch will work otherwise you’ll have to fabricate your own as union 53 did.
