I didn't smack it at all.. That's what I'm riding while my 117" is going together.
I just said I didn't like the skinny tire. My Fatbob seat is on it also. I like that better too..
great point. I’m not able to have both, and I’m more of a WG fan, but I’d really like for my wife to get a ride with me now and then. I’m “probably” going to sacrifice the WG soon.

i rode my WG solo, into mainland europe this year, 2,500 miles. my wife flew out to meet me in Prague, then we rode in pillion mode, around the Czech countryside, when not at the HD event.
at that time, i had the stock wheels and tires, and never once felt uncomfortable. in saying that, i have a bigger front tire now, and it does track better
imo, if the fatboy overall rides better, and gives better configuration options it must be some bike

I have a 2012 Wide Glide, and while I like the performance and custom appearance, I'm really beginning to like the fatboy. There is one for sale locally at a good price, but I really like my bike. The audience here is obviously pro WG, but what are some opinions to help me decide? Everyone has opinions, so "shoot" !!!

When I first started looking, the Fatboy felt the most comfortable for me, but the WG is what scratched that itch. So I can definitely see why you were torn.
That being said though, I don't think I'll ever get rid of the WG. Just gonna have to get her some friends.
