I changed from a Fat Boy to Dyna for the reasons you already described you like yours.
Performance and stopping power are two things the Fatboy doesn’t have but it was Cool to look at, it just felt a bit like riding an armchair with no brakes and nowhere near as much fun to ride as a Dyna.
Thanks ......... I rode the WG yesterday and it was fun, snappy, and I'll say different, after riding the Fatboy all week. The new Fatboy with ABS can stop like nothing I've ridden before. Over the years, the bike I've owned the longest and ridden the most, was a Honda VTX_C. The Wide Glide has been inspiring, but the Fatboy is just what I'm most comfortable riding. Enjoy, but the 114 has not been past the initial break in, so I haven't pushed it past 3000RPM, but I'm thinking it'll impress once I get to push it just a bit. The tuned 103 is hot, but I'm putting some stock in saying that the 114 will edge it out on the performance side, someday soon. Here's a pic not strapped down and off the trailer. Took forever to get the shoe rubber off the pipes. It's been sitting under a tarp for a month. It's amazing how much a Walmart tarp will scratch dusty clearcoat. I've been rubbing this baby almost everyday
