I think I have a fork seal thats going bad so I figure its about tine to upgrade from stock suspension. I've got a 2016 Street Bob. Ive been looking at Progressive high performance cartridge kit and I literally cant find any reviews. Whenever i look it up people only talk about the monotube or lowering cartridge kit. Has anyone tried the high performance cartridge kit? Also interested in something like the racetech fork suspension kit which is just springs. Trying to not break the bank so I'm avoiding the $800+ Ohlins and such. What do you guys think? What are y'all running on your dyna?
I went with these, purchased through Howard at MM. Got a decent discount and worked with him on spring selection. Similar to the cartridge kits offered by Ohlins. At the time only 25mm were available for my FXDB. There may be a 30mm option now.
Point taken that they do not match your budget....

Ouch... A little expensive haha. I understand you get what you pay for but I feel like I shouldnt need to spend too much to get my dyna to not nose dive anytime I tap the front brake lol

Totally agree...lol... This was a Christmas present to myself last year. I did full-on front and rear (Ohlins Blackline piggy-backs).
You certainly can get most of the performance for substantially less investement.
I have the race tech springs and emulators up front and I am using rwd shocks out back as well. Now I'm using 2 over tubes and speed merchant preload adjusters and my rear shocks are 14" so my situation might be a little different. But for the price it's a good upgrade up front. My front end doesnt have the brake dive from stock. Fairly easy install for the price point it does the job extremely well.

ya I'm leaning towards those racetech springs. They're cheaper and I have a funny feeling about those progressive products. Too mainstream lol.
And I wish I could I have those14" but I'm 5'7" and already on my tippy toes lol. There's nothing I want more than taller shocks but I need to make due with what I got lol.

ha, I've used several of the lines of progressive rear shocks with good results and found good pricing since they are so mainstream. But figured on this one since we built the 110 up I needed something to transfer power to the ground. And trust me I feel you on the vertically challenged part. I'm only 5'8 but have long legs I can flat foot one side and other is tip toe. I feel like I'm sitting on a dirt bike haha.

"Progressive high performance cartridge kit" ... Which kit would that be?
They only list one cartridge kit (monotube) and it lowers also
Im using the ps performance catridge. Instantly felt huge improvement and a lot more when I adjusted it. Im not a professional rider or a stunter, just a average commuter that has a dyna for main transportation. It works great for me and potholes and speed bumps dont have nothing on me. It handles better and where Im from, theres not a lot of straight roads like in the US. I grew up riding sports bike and street fighters and ps works for me. I occasionally do wheelies also, and when I have a hard landing, these catridge takes a lot of the impact without problems, knock on wood.

the high performance kit is listed on revzilla but I think it may be the same thing just for the dyna. Revzilla seperates the monotube and high performance kit and it says the monotube won't fit my bike but the high performance will. But they list at the same price and use the same picture. So i guess I'm just as lost lol
