If you're lucky that leak is actually coming from the outer primary.....

Sounds like a pinched pushrod tube "O' ring and a inner primary seal leak. Shop shouldn't have sent it out leaking which is why bikes get test rides before they go home. Wish you were on the east coast bc I want to fix your bike. Road trip ! Who did the crank ?

Talk to tatro hugger. Taking the money back from him right away isn't going to make the situation better. If the crank didn't take care of the vibration it is obviously something else contributing. You'll figure it out.

I would trade it in and get something different new or used.

Leak on the primary side is coming from the derby cover. Tatro not responding. I'll just take him to Small Claims Court. Judges don't like shadetree mechanics.

Good news. Tatro apologized for the issue and promises to make it right.

Good. Tatro seems to be reputable. Don't forget: You've just had major surgery. Complications are not uncommon. Give the surgeon a chance. You're in the middle of a "process," for better or worse. Stuff happens. Let it play out a bit more before involving courts and stop-payments. Those things are appropriate at a certain point, but it doesn't sound like you're there yet...
