Default Four bolt seat bracket

Hey guys, I have this four bolt seat bracket that was sitting on my bike when I bought it (used). I could never get the original screw out of it (as seen on the pic). Anyway I have now a new seat and I preferly dont wanna screw the seatnose to the fueltank screw/attachment, cause I want the seat to sit alittle bit lower to the frame. I really wanna know if these four bolt brackets is on the market somewhere, where I can buy it for my Dyna fatbob 2008. Any links or suggestions for solving this is welcome.

Looks custom to me. Any weld/fab shop could make a new one in a few minutes.

Yeah, I suppose so. Those four screws in the frame might be custom as well then

Regarding the screws, did you (or somebody) cut the heads off are are they threaded inserts?

I screwed the four screws back into the frame again, after I removed this bracket. Those four are good allen head screws.

Gotcha! That's a pretty nice setup, IMO. Better than the solo/Springer kids I see everybody else peddling. I don't blame you for wanting to get a new bracket so you can lower that seat. I had to go full custom on mine for that same reason.

Yeah, Dynas are alittle bit tricky I suppose, at least when it comes to this soloseat parts with the springs n all. In worst case I have to go with the fueltank-screw and bend that bracket some, plus bend the hairpin-springs as well a bit lol. That just because to get alittle bit lower to the frame.

I rigid mounted mine but that required a custom seat pan and welding mounting tabs to the frame. I went ahead and chopped off the stock mounting tabs so it won't be simple to go back. Just part of the price we pay for custom bikes.

Good luck! I have a feeling you'll get it sorted.

yeah I hear ya, not simple to go back. My frame got the rear fender supports chopped off lol. But I like the bobberlook with soloseat-style anyway. No passengers thou lol.
Thank you, yes I'll fix it in someway
