Thinking about taking off my chrome strut covers on my fat bob and running without. Does anyone have pics or a reason not to?

 

I got rid of mine on day one. Others have switched to black covers.

It's a more...purposeful...look. The struts are rough(ish) cast steel but they are powder coated. I think it looks fine, but you gotta kinda like "all go, no show" aesthetic.

Sorry no pics of mine in that state but they're all over. I'm sure somebody will be along shortly.
