Avon has added a NEW Tire Model "Cobra Chrome" with New sizes while almost completely removing the old "Cobra" line (only 4 tires left)


For long a time the Only 180 Tires that were "Recommended" for a 4.5 x 17" were:
- Dunlop GT502
- Pirelli Night Dragon
- Michelin Scorcher 31

Now the Avon "Cobra Chrome" can be added to this list

I haven't found anyone that has the 180 in stock yet, supposed to be available soon?

The 160 & most popular sizes have been available for about 6 weeks, the best price I've been able to find is from AMT.

 

Hmm... Will have to check the new specs. I knew they launched the new line but thought it was just a white wall version of the original Cobra. I run the AV71 & 72 now. Like them and they're one of the few in my sizes. Hate to hear they're going away. Hopefully the Chrome line is the same or better.

 

Called jp cycles, they said they will have the 180/60/17 in November for $324. Bike bandit has them listed for a more reasonable fee. I am gonna call them tomorrow to see if they are Available.

Just got a set for my 06 FX. 16-200 rear, 21 front. Revzilla was 100 less then everyone else.
