Default Fender Is Done.

It's finally done! Took a Fat Bob rear fender and cut an inch out of the center and three inches of length off it. Made my own tail light bracket and plate holder. I think it looks like something the factory could have offered.
Now if it would warm up a bit I could take it for a ride!

You're right, it does. I think it looks damn good! Great job! Did you paint and pinstripe it yourself too?

Thanks, I sprayed the first coats of clear, wet sanded, had my pinstriper lay the lines and then sprayed more clear so it's just like the factory pinstripping on the rest of the bike.

I've always thought that generation of Fat Bob/Wide Glide fender was too long. Very nicely done.

That really looks good , did you have any issues with the struts sitting wider than the narrowed fende?

Wow, that really looks nice! I've always liked a good bobbed fender, but when the factory does it they often end up cartoonish... You nailed it!
