Bringing up the cool factor on my 99 Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG
#13
There are a lot of things you can do to make your wg handle better. I did progressive cartrige mono tube’s, 12.5 taller rear shocks , ally art stabilizer’s. yes progressive is mid grade but it works just fine for me . It has plenty of lean angle as I went up instead of slammed. All the myths about wide glides suffering in the handling department I don’t get . I went from a sportster to a wide glide with no problems . The more time you put in the saddle the bigger your smile will be! Wide glides are born with the cool factor. Give us some pictures. Good luck with it.

i tend to get carried away with the subject of wide glides! Lol! How about I switch gears and ask you to post a picture of that 99 candy green fxr that I see as your avitar. I was close to buying one from a collector here in ct a few years ago but another collector bet me to it. I love my 92 but the candy green 99 has always been the one that got away and the best looking as far as I am concerned. Probably because it has that 1980 wide glide flame tank design. Out oh! Back on wide glides lol!

I'll dig one or two up... I think you're the first who mentioned what it was. (I think someone said they liked Flames, but didn't know what it was)
It was my GF's bike set-up for a 5'-nothing. Unfortunately, it's long gone (the bike, not the gal )
OP, hope you don't mind
.
