2016 low rider s pricing

Hey guys,

looking into buying a used 2016 low rider s with 1900 miles. Has a D&D exhaust system and stage 1 setup. The bike was listed at 17495 and the dealer brought it down to 17k. I tried to work in another 1k off but they wouldn't budge. I'm fairly new to the dyna world so was wondering if 17K not including taxes and stuff (probably come up to 18k) is a good deal on a used 16 low rider s?

It's a popular bike, there's going to be some dealer markup that they'll more than likely get. Of course I'm not biased at all.

Looks about right in the Philly area.

I was going to get this for myself. Only has 89 miles on the clock. I guess the link doesn't work on here. Oh sorry, it not an S model. My bad.

I should have traded my fxdl for a fxdls when I had the chance. I was just looking earlier and all the used models were 17-18k with a few thousand to several thousand miles. Back in 17 I saw several left over models for 2-3k under sticker and I thought "man that's a good price maybe I should trade.... nah I'll keep mine".

Yeah,it kind of sucks depending on where you are. I see huge price differences in different areas. I’m in the Midwest, and bought mine new on September of 2016 for $14565. Crazy how popular they have become.

You know as much as I do, that the midwest is bagger nation. I was in Quincy IL when I was first looking at the FXDLS and the dealership owner had the price down to $13k nearly begging me to buy it, but at that time I wasn't ready to let go of the Sporty. 3 months later the line was nixed and I scrambled to buy one and nabbed the last one in Iowa at full retail.

DONT DO IT!
17k, especially before taxes, tags, and title???? No way dude.
If you live in the northeast, you will regret it once winter comes around. even though you are currently in winter...
riding season will end, and you still have to make all those payments every month, plus if you want to mod your bike, that will even be more costly.

i say shop around, buy an older dyna, and build off of that.

unless you have money growing on trees, then disregard everything i said and go for it...lol

I got my '16 with 1800 miles, priced at what it would have cost me new when it was released. But it already had mods that i wanted (and some i didn't), and the RSD Slant pipe that was on the bike is difficult to get hold of now as they stopped making it. The FXDLS isn't that easy to come by in the UK, and most are priced around their original cost with around 5k miles on the clock. I traded an '18 Breakout in for it and don't regret it one bit. It makes me smile just looking at it, and it's the most fun bike to ride that i've ever owned.
At the moment these bikes are super popular and are holding value really well, not that i ever plan on selling mine.
