Zip ties and screwdrivers? Never seen that one. I use paper clips on rubber bands that are held up on the box bolts.

bad part is I’m not learning. Dang it! I’m just a clutz and rushing. Anywho, she’s getting break in oil
added now, update on the 555s shortly.

And for all you 06 Haters, this bike is family. She’s done me right, from the free MOcO
work due to IPB and tranny, to Stator/rotor... that’s it, 30k beautifully aside from those two issues. I beat on her and rag her out too! Black Betty is relentless

So... couldn't tell from the pics and description.. but did you upgrade the rotor to the '07 & up version?.. or just put the bolted one back in?... and if you did, did you at least weld the bolts?
