Mini Apes and 1/4 Fairing
I notice almost every bike with a 1/4 Fairing has T Bars. I love the look of those fairings but my bike has 14" Southeast Custom narrow apes. I can't really switch to T Bars because my bike has the stupid integrated riser/top clamp set up. Wondering how that type of fairing would look with narrow apes? I google image searched but the pickin's were slim.I don't wanna drop several hundred for a fairing just to find out that it looks dumb. TIA. Any feedback?
BTW, this is my current set up: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...fa7e9eaccd.jpg |

I don't understand. Loads of people are running T-bars on Street Bobs.

You have to change the top tree.

That is a 1/4 fairing?

couple observations i can provide since i have both the HD 1/4 Fairing and T Sport Fairing w/ 14 in windshield...
with HD1/4 Fairing, you will be able to notice you have Ape style handlebars. it will be up to whether you decide if that is ugly or not; there are some google images of dyna bikes with apes and hd 1/4 fairing & memphis shade 1/4 fairings with T Sport Fairing 14 inch windshield, you would not be able to tell form the front and side views, that your bike has ape handlebars. and IF you want to switch your top triple tree, it really is inexpensive, and only takes a few mins... |
There are Street Bob specific T Bars that bolt into that integrated riser top tree. They’re basically T bars with a mounting plate welded to the bottom. My buddy has them on his and it works great. I know West Coast makes a set, others might also. |

I have 14in with the dart, doesn't look bad to me |
Changing the top clamp will take more then a few minutes. You have to disconnect some wires and re-rout them again, but thats the best solution to get a t bar/riser bar. "Integrated riser" is not that stable.
