I may get a different top piece for that one piece riser - joker machine maybe. Stuff for down the line and detailing when I run out of things to do to the bike. Something like this:
I just ordered a Burly Brand Lowboy Fork Lowering Kit from J&P Cycles. I will install that when it gets here. I'll get the one inch lower jiffy stand later, right before the bike comes off the lift. Overall the bike should sit 1.5 - 2 inches lower. Great because I am short! 5'7" barefoot.
I think this is a drop in kit, not certain.

You have exhibited the ability and confidence by the work you have already shown us on your bike.
You can make a truing stand literally out of 2 x 4" s Check out many you tube vids
Also 2 x 4" wood bead breaker
The tire sizes your dealing with are a breeze. Just buy tire irons and good wheel protectors
A good bicycle pump is plenty to set the beads......my wife set my beads with her bike pump...took 95 PSI and pop pop

I probably will do it, but there's lots of work ahead of that.
I was messing around with the bike over coffee. I installed the recessed headlight bracket and the black rear axle caps.
Hey Six, this isn't building, it's decorating! ;p
Edit/update: Removed the wire loom from the old bars - was almost as hard as running them through there, stubborn stuff, damn!
Removed the blinkers/wiring from the control switch housings - this is for the blinker relocation using the HD relocation kit. I'll buy some new mesh wire loom before I put it all back together.

Gotta be careful with that. Installed tires at my job during my college years and the PSI on the tire is for beading (usually around 40-60 psi). Much more than that can damage the tire or bead, I've damaged more than one by over inflating during install. I'm not saying it can't be done and the tire will be fine, just something to be cautious about. Usually re-lubing will allow the bead to pop within that range.
