Default Part Number for Derby & Battery Cover

I need to replace the derby cover on my 2008 Street Bob. The parts catalog says that the part number is 60767-06 but the description says COVER, clutch (polished). My cover is wrinkle black - am I not looking up the correct part?

Also, I want to get a battery cover that does not have a 'strap' go accross it - just a solid one piece battery cover. I would like to get it in wrinkle black. Can someone get me a PN or a model/year for this?

My old man's 2006 night train came factory with wrinkle black derby cover, 60713-99. I have no idea if it is compatible with a dyna, but not sure why it wouldn't be.

Edit: Also, if I remember correctly, the PN is cast into the inside face of the derby cover. You could have a non-stock derby, or a stock derby that was powdercoated at some point.

For sure, the 2017 street bob and fat bob had one piece, gloss black battery covers. I dont think harley made a one piece wrinkle black cover that wasn't meant to have a band across it.

Where are you located? I have a chrome battery cover from a 2011 Street Bob. If you’re close enough, you can have it for free and get powder coated. Too tough for me to get to PO otherwise.

Thanks for the offer, but it would not be worth the trip. I'm about 4 hrs. away from NOVA.

Derby: 60713-07

No stock wrinkle battery covers. Pull the strap off, pull the bolts out, get some wrinkle black paint - paint it, and put some nice bolts in to fill the holes.
