Minimum and maximum width of Jack for 2009 Low Rider
I have 2009 LowRider. I can’t afford the J&S jack and it sucks using the Harley spacers/blocks/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. I have a Harborfreight jack and a Pittsburgh which I have heard can be modified. What is the minimum and maximum width that will work? How far apart from inside width and outside width can jack pads be? Thanks in advance for all useful info.

Do you have a Low Rider with the screwed-up frame design that requires the jack with the pads further apart? I don't know if they fixed the design flaw but my 2009 is one of the years that you have to modify most jacks to have the pads spread further apart so that you don't lift from the oil pan unless you use blocks or Harley's 4 spaces. From what I've heard and read, if you don't have the Low Rider you don't have the problem so I don't know if that J&S jack measurement would be correct.

Someone smarter than me will know for sure.
