Caliper rubbing rotor 2012 superglide
Just took my front wheel off to get the lower forks painted. Took my time to make sure i put the spacers back in the same spots when Putting it back together. Took it for a ride and realized the caliper is rubbing the rotor very bad. Neither piston is seized and can move very freely when i take it off. Also the tire doesn’t appear to be in the center of the fender. Tried switching the spacers for the hell of it and that doesn’t allow the caliper to mount. Tried putting the washers on the caliper mounts in between the forks and the caliper figuring, even though i was confident they were right under the bolt head. Cleaned up all the surfaces where the spacers meet and flipped them to see if it made a difference. I’ve read hundreds of threads about the process of tightening up the axel but and bolts on the axel cover, nothing made a difference. Any ideas? Not very experienced.

Best advice bro is to make sure your spacers are installed properly(some are directional, check your SM) and seated against the wheel bearing. I did not see a wheel speed sensor from your pics so it doesnt appear you have ABS. Two different lengths for the fasteners on your brake caliper correct, make sure those go back to the correct home.
Your fork cap is directional as well, make sure your follow SM for installing that.
Lastly, I would take a good hard look at your caliper and make sure its not damaged, pistons, etc..... Also check the rotor itself.
If you are still having issues, get a pro, too dangerous to take a chance on.

Could a bearing have shifted inside your hub? Check your belt alignment too.
Longshot here~ Brake rotor bolts backing out?
Rotor wasn't "flipped" over, was it?
If everything else checks out, then shim the rotor, I guess. Not really recommended, but ya gotta do what a gotta do...
