Default New Kinetic Motor mounts... 50% less felt vibes?

This mount is super interesting... anyone have experience with this mount? They claim around 50% reduced vibes and support claim with videos. It uses metal mesh in place of other dampening compounds like rubber. I guess this type of dampening technology is utilized in airplane motor mounts. Thoughts? https://www.kineticstructures.com/ha...ne-motor-mount

Looks interesting but I wonder about breakdown issues with the mesh.

Dunno, but I've found that mounts are usually not the issue. If the bike is vibrating excessively, it's a more serious issue.

Looks like it, but it piqued my interest.

There was some talk about it in the Evo forum a while back.

Anyone else use this mount yet? I'm at 86,000 miles on my Fat Bob and the front mount is about toast. that's the second one I've gone through. Tired of overpriced stock Harley components. just hoping for more ta or nay before I pull the trigger on this or go to the predator mount.

This mount does not have the stabilizer built in like the Predator. I work in the aircraft industry and we use mesh mounts all the time. I don't see why it wouldn't work. But, you would have to get this mount and a Sputhe (or similiar) stabilizer to have the same effect as the Predator. I have the Predator on my 2015 FXDL and it is fantastic. Probably the best suspension mod I've made. But, I also tried this mount on my 2003 FXDWG, which also had Sputhe rear mount, and I ended up with a clunk I couldn't get rid of, so I removed the Predator and installed stock mount up front.

"Our Dyna mounts are designed with independent vertical and lateral stiffness. Vertical stiffness is soft to isolate vibration. Lateral stiffness is stiff to prevent engine instability or wobble. You don't have to add stabilizer links with our mounts."

This is an interesting claim.

At nearly $500 for a back/front set (and apparently not rebuildable bushings unlike their FXR and touring units), it would be good to not have to outlay additional $$ for Sputhe etc stabilizers on top of that price...
