Went over to the dealer in Kearny Mesa yesterday to get a part and boom, the building is abandoned!! Must have absconded in the middle of the night!

They've always had a location on Morena. The Kearny Mesa store closed abruptly a few days ago.

They still have an "ARO" in Seaport Village?

I remember when they were on Sports Arena Blvd, before they moved to Kearney Mesa.

They had a "modified" range at Morena Blvd. It's close to the original Price Club. (Actually, it's next to Price Storage.)

 

Yep, been to both shops numerous times. Kearny went bust.

 

2 stores 8 miles apart.
Consolidated after Kearny lease expired.

 

They had a second location across the freeway from the current Kearny location for several years.

 

I remember it. They moved across 163 and did a big expansion. Never understood why they opened on Morena unless lease was less. Kearney is a better location.

I can’t figure if Biggs is doing OK. Went there Saturday. Huge inventory but sales were not happening. Their Indian store wasn’t busy either.
Could have been an off day for sales.

 

This old Accountant always gets uncomfortable when he walks into a business and sees excess inventory and no sales activity.
