Default Exhaust Resting on Oil Dipstick

Put a custom exhaust on my 2004 wide glide. Problem is the rear cylinder exhaust pipe is sitting directly on the oil dipstick. It is sitting on top of it. Would have to remove to check or add oil which would be a pain. However, the bigger question to me is heat transfer. I know the cap is metal but I worry about possible melting plastic dip stick or I ring. I thought about wrapping that part under shield. Any thoughts on this and my paranoia. Any help is appreciated.

If the exhaust is installed properly (ie the head pipes aren't drawn too deep into the exhaust ports) I don't know that I'd use an exhaust that precluded me from checking the engine oil. Can you post pictures of the exhaust studs/nuts and the impedance with the oil filler?

You need to be able to check oil levels... get a different exhaust / route that head pipe differently.

That can't be right! Are you sure it's supposed to fit your particular model?

You either installed the pipes wrong or Got the wrong exhaust pipes for your bike.

You put a 2006 and later pipe on a 2005 and earlier bike.

Default Exhaust

Yes it is a model that actually goes on a softail and was modified to fit a dyna. I am not concerned about getting cap off to check and change oil as I can do that by just pulling it a little loose. More concerned on the heat issue before I pull it off. Just wanted to see if the heat will be an issue for rubber seal and dipstick. Any thoughts on that issue.

It looks just like the second to last pic above. I have attached pics of it I took as a close up. Just experimenting a little bit and will probably put my other one back on just wanted to know about heat issue.
