Default (poll w/pics) T-bar MX style or APES

attached is a pic of my bike with 14" Burly apes w 1" riser. Also, attached are the biltwell 10-14" MX Tbars.

Which would you pic and why?

Reason im thinking of switching. i now have a tach and cellphone holder. I need a place to mount them. the tbars fill that role. The burly bars will be up for sale if i switch.

Also, the apes have 6" pull back that my wrists dont like.

10,12, or 14 for tbar rise?

Pics of tbar dynas if anyone has one

Thoughts?

What do you use the bike for?

I have 14" Apes & 2" risers on one bike, its super comfy and i can ride it all day long.
I have MX style bars on tall risers (12" total) on my other bike and its more fun to ride aggressively.

HI, Thanks. The bike is really more of a bar hopper. Rear end is low (burely slammers) so I usually dont ride more than an hour before taking a beer break.

Dan D, Awesome that is EXACTLY what I was looking for. How much rise do you have in the risers? Bar is 3"? How much pull back?

Do you get any vibration in the bars? My apes will vibrate quite a bit. It smooths out with revs.

Is that your bike? That is near the exact set up I am looking for. Quick question if the bike is yours. What brand seat is that? I really dig the lattice work styling.

TIA

My Poor Man's Tbars lol. FXDLS Risers with 3" Extensions with a Zero Drag Bar. Ugh, dont mind the improper focus job around the handlebars due to Iphone not being so smart

it's a saddlemen seat...

it's my buddies bike, he loves the tbars... i'll ask about the details.

his only complaint about the seat is the steep angle... i think if it was curved more, it would give better support. it's still comfortable, but not as much as it could be. I have a saddlemen on my fatbob, and it's more arched.

i'll let you know about the bars once he wakes up.

This is what he said,

"I have 11" risers with the fly forbbiden moto bars. 2.5" rise with 3" of pullback maybe two. Have to switch to better riser bushings to prevent flex and movement. The whole bike vibrates but I don't notice it anymore than stock. However my risers clamp are 1 1/8" as are my bars, Harleys have a 1" grip radius. They taper but I may switch the bars eventually to a pro taper bar "
