Man, would NOT be riding that. Was thinking solid lifter motor at first. Once I heard 2nd vid.. YIKE

Down on power? Pull the top end down and the problem should be obvious.

Was just changing the oil to dino and also noticed excessive metal shavings on the magnet.

Should I assume it's the lifters?
I would assume the whole motor may have metal particles eating away at critical components.

Man, sorry to see that. Didn’t know you had +50k miles on her. On a 2016?! Kudos, that’s a lot of riding.
If it was me, it’d be a tear down.
But for ***** I’d cut open the oil filter, check top end, cam chain tensioners, just to see if I could find the root so I could sleep tonight.

Ya, I ride alot. It's my daily driver.

I pulled the top end and everything seems fine. Gonna check the cam tensioner n primary as well.

I'm pretty disappointed.

The outer cam tensioner looks fine. I can't really see the rear tensioner.

I'm starting to get worried that it's something more serious. Crank?

I'm going to pull the primary next after I reassemble the top end.

Yeah. While it was clacking, did the bike run ok? Was there a power drop, miss or smoke?
If the bike seemed to run normal but had a clack, my thinking would be a bolt or pin backed out and was hitting the case. If the crank, cams, valves were coming apart the bike would run like crap. The shrapnel looks like aluminum. Rules out cams and crank.
You can pull the plugs, raise the rear, put in 6th, have someone spin the tire and see if you can stethoscope the case. You might be able to hear where the clack is coming from. Don’t do it without an oil filter in. Look at the cylinder walls through the plug hole. I don’t think it will cause any more damage.
Just throwing out ideas

It runs fine just has that clanking sound no smoke or power drop.

I just finished pulling the primary and everything looks okay.

I think I might just reassemble everything and take it to the dealer or reputable mechanic.

I'm starting to get in over my head.

Umm... Aluminum wouldn't stick to the magnet.
