Default Bassani Road Rage 1 to a Road Rage 2 question

Hi guys. Im running a black Bassani Road Rage 1 exhaust on my 2011 Super Glide Custom. When I initially installed the Road Rage 1 it was because I had installed floor boards on the bike (actual floor board brackets from a switchback with floor boards) and the Road Rage 1 would work with them. At that time Bassani didnt know if the Road Rage 2 would work. After my accident Sept 2018 the bike was rebuild , painted and many items went onto it. I decided to go with the Low Rider S black forward mid controls which I love. Only issue is the brake arm lever is rubbing against the exhaust. The exhaust melted away a small portion of the brake arm and the exhaust part is now shiny where the brake arm touches it.

I looked at the schematics of the Road Rage 1 and Road Rage 2
Road Rage 1 https://www.bassanipipes.com/blacklo...-13121j-1.aspx
Road Rage 2 https://www.bassanipipes.com/blacklo...j-2-1-1-1.aspx

I want to call Bassani and ask if I could just purchase the headers for a Road Rage 2 and use my exhaust Megaphone muffler and mount it on the Road Rage 2 headers. From what I read on both schematics I dont see why it wouldnt work. Anyone have any input on if this will work? If I can buy just the Road Rage 2 headers I could save some money on it instead of spending on the full exhaust.

With those links it looks like the mounting brackets could be different. Sharp color scheme you have there.
