I have a 99 dyna convertible with an 88 twin cam, it has the stock air intake on it with vance and hines straight shot slip ons, at an idle it has a bubbling noise coming from the exhaust and it makes the same while decelerating, i tried to adjust the air/fuel mixture screw but cant get rid of the noise, any ideas on what it could be?

 

Would check for Exhaust Leak first then Intake.. If have the Original Intake Seals, won't be a waste of money changing them anyway on a Machine that's 20 Years Old ..

 

HArd to be sure exactly what you mean by "bubbling noise"... My first guess would be that it's too rich at idle, but just guessing.

 

Thanks, im gonna work on it tomorrow, it has new intake gaskets so im gonna try the exhaust gaskets and see what that does
