With the Wide Glide the stock riser will work good.. If ya need to pull them back measure for the 14" and 16" before ya buy 12" might be too short.. Rember the angel is diffrent than the S.B.

 

what are the stock apes on streetbob 12" ??

I'm thinking of going a little higher, but want to do it together
with the 21" front wheel, i don't think the biger apes look right without
the 21" front... I'll probably wait til next year to do this anyway...

I still gotta get 11" progressives, and a different license plate.

Just an update, not that anyone cares ...

To refresh, original plan was to have the apes installed by end of the day Thursday.

Well,I got a call Friday afternoon explaining that one of the cables hada "wrong connection?" and that they were trying to get a part air mailed out. Looks like it didn't make it by the end of Friday, so who knows when that'll come in.

I knew ... knew this install would not go off without a hitch.

When .... or should I say IF ... these bars ever get put on, it'll be a long time before the bike has any more work done on it.

I'm going INSANE!!!!!!!!!!

 

Is there anyone in canada makeing cables or do they have to come from the US.. That could take days.. Dont go Insane, you'll miss rideing with the new Apes...

 

Update ....

Got 'em ... and I love 'em ... Best thing is that i used to get a pain in my lower back with the stock bars. Was out today for about 4 hrs, without stopping, and absolutely no pain. I love the new bars.
