Don't forget that you'll also need the brass nut that the seat screws into if it did not come with the seat. It looks like this and needs to be installed from underneath the rear fender and kept in place with the black plastic washer that comes with the nut. The easiest way to do that is to get a foot or so long piece of stiff wire, bend one end into an "L" shape and slide the nut, bottom down onto the bent wire. Fish the straight end up under the fender, through the hole and then pull the nut up, install the locking washer and you're good to go.
You should have gotten a plastic wire tie with the seat in the little bag along with the Directions .... Thats for getting the bolt back up through the back hole in the fender, If ya dont have any stiff wire. ( Like DGlide said ) Just slip the wire tie through the hole in the bolt and feed it through the hole in the fender, Make sure you line up the notch in the bolt with the notch in the fender ,,push C- Clip in place and yer done ...

i did not notice that plastic C-clip and alot of different hardware , i'll have to really look at the directions , thanks for your help !
I did not get what you have shown me? my seat is for a 2006 , besides the photo of my hardware , i also got that plastic tie and the passenger seat strap which i'm not going to install
