Squirt some WD-40 inside around the edges of the baffles and wait a minute. Then take a needlenose pliars, there's an edge you can grab on the baffle. Just pull out.

Slip them off and use a hammer handle down the pipe, quicker then it sounds

Use a slide hammer with a hook on the end. Place the hook in the hole in the baffle where the bolt was removed and jack them out with the slide hammer.

I removed the baffels on my 97 super glide once. (Used Buggzs' method) Was the loudest motorcycle I ever heard.[sm=insomnia.gif] It sounded T-I-T but jeez did it ever attract the attention of the law.. (I should know cause I am the law!) [sm=shootshoot.gif]Whats moreover on decel it would at times backfire and according to my buddies generate the coolest looking blue flamed light blast... It was and is kinda hard on the valves though not enough back pressure I suppose.

Wait... was I trying to discourage or encourage?? ahh who the he11 cares.. enjoy![sm=smiley20.gif]
