Default SE Race Tuner

I just bought a new SE Tuner and am a little reluctant to try doing it myself.

Has anyone else done this?

piece of cake. Just read the instructions, and don't skip any of the steps. pick the map you want to use and just load it. pay attention to when the instructions tell you to turn on the power and when you turn on the ignition switch!! (don't ask me how i know). it really is easy to load a supplied SERT map.

Real easy to do. Follow the directions and make sure the run switch is in the on position.

if i remember right, it is slipped onto a little plastic retainer right on the front of the fuze panel. look for a square plastic conncetor, probably with a rubber plug on the end, about dead center on the electrical caddy (fuze panel). once you find it, you're be glad it wasn't a snake as it would have bitten you.

Yep, pull off the fuse box cover on the left side and you will see a connector with a cap on it. They made it real easy to get to also, just slide it forward and it comes out of the slot.

The connector on your bike to hookup your Screamin Eagle Race Tuner is under the fuse box cover on the left side of the bike right next to the ignition coil that your spark plug wires plug into. Use two hands to grab the cover and pull straight out. Connector is grey with a black rubber plug.
There is only two 'Closed Loop' maps for our bikes, #32 & #59, the difference between the two, one is for8* injectors and the other is for 25* injectors. If you have 25* injectors use the 8* map, it will make it a little more richer, both are richer then the original map but still on the lean side of the spectrum.
Hook cable up, ignition switch on, run switch on. Click on Screamin Eagle Tools --> Delphi -->tuning mode,I accept, click on one of the below maps, file, program ECM, select com port, get ECM info, program ECM cal......done

Mud, I used something similar from below for the 2 into 1 exhaust.....These are map settings that were sent to me from another forum member. He saidthat he sent them to several other members that had good results with 8* & 25* injectors and aftermarket or Screamin Eagle exhaust systems. You can put these figures into Cal #59 -- 141NX104-A0.MT6. If anyone trys these out, try out both VE settings that I listed below (richer & Leaner).
