Default Installing my S&S 124 twin cam. Question on ECU

So I finally got my S&S 124 black twin cam on Friday. Sat night the entire bike was stripped and gave all the parts to the guy who bought them here on Long Island. My question is this. Right now my ECU has a Techno Research flash on it. My old motor was built up to a 107. I also have a TTS tuner thats mated to my vin. I know I need to clear my ECU and bring it back to stock mode. Oh before I continue the bike is a 2011 FXDC that originally had a 96 motor. My question is can I ride the bike and break the motor in. Then get the bike dynoed using my TTS? Or is that bad for the bike, and I should get a generic 124 map from TTS. Ride the bike until I break the motor in and then get it Dynoed. My other option is to take my buddies Thundermax , give the guy who bought my motor and all the other parts my ECU with the Techno Research flashed on my ECU as well as give him my TTS tuner with another map. And he would give me his blank 2010 ECU as a backup. If I took my buddies Thundermax would I have to call Thundermax to get some sort of map for a 124? And my last question. I remember years ago when Thundermax came out , if something was wrong with the bike no codes would come up because of the Thundermax. Have thing changed now a days with the Thundermax allowing codes to show up? I have the black S&S 124 motor, Baker Grudge reverse shift tranny, trask air filter, 6.2 injectors, Horsepower inc 58-62 black throttle body, full length big inch Sawicki stainless exhaust (they made me a full length one) Evolution Industries diamond 49T clutch basket assembly with new chain, aim variable pressure plate, Dark Horse Motor comp, Supersprox black stealth rear 52T rear sprocket, PBI sprocket, spacer, 3D 530 chain, Baker attitude adjuster, Big Bear Performance dual gauge relocation kit, guerilla cables wire harness, Drag specialties speedo and tach, replaced my hard case performance risers and pro taper bar with Krause kick back risers and a new pro taper bar with a better pull back. I bought the guerilla cables block off plate for the hole where my 5 inch speedo was. But i may order the Big Bear Performance block off plate and remove the entire dash and relocate the ignition switch. The big bar performance gauge relocation kit has a hole where I can put my dummy lights. So i will have to extend the wiring to do do that.

DO not try and break in your motor with the map from the 107. Make sure you have the appropriate map for a 124 with the version of cams you have. If I were you, I would use my original ecm with a map from tts for the tts. I've never used a thundermax so I can't speak to that. If you plan on having it dyno tuned, I would speak with that tuner and see what tuner he prefers to work with and go that route. And if possible have him break it in on the dyno

It will be best (seeing you have a bunch of money tied up in this) to find a good tuner in your area and have him set-up a break-in tune with the TTS. After 500 miles, you can take it back and he can do the final tune.

Same one in my Bagger and TTS...... Good runner.

Alot of dough tied up there..... Rent or borrow a small trailer to get it there. Why chance doing it any other way.... None of those other options, should be options.
