FXDWG Emblem Identify

Hello. I was wondering if anyone had seen this emblem stock on an FXDWG or if it was a custom?

I have only ever seen it on early 80s Shovels.

Interested to hear your feedback.

Its a decal. Here's a Google link, if you scroll down a little you'll see it comes in a few different colors too... harley tank wide glide decals by year - Google Search

Hey R O C S, that's a great looking '95 FXDWG. 1995 FXD Dyna Super Glide, 1995 FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide, 1995 FXDS Dyna Super Glide Sport, 1995 DXDL Dyna Low Rider. the wide forks and the sporty rear fender are characteristics of the Wide Glide from that time frame. The exposed rear shocks are synonymous with the FXD series during that production run.

thanks Senior. Hey maybe you’ll know the answer to this:

there is a thin rubber hose that runs from the top of the battery case, all the way down and ends just below the frame near the rear tire. I thought it was a breather but the strange thing is that it’s not connected to anything on either end.

any ideas?

I guess its for an older style battery. They used to "cook off" and overflow battery acid. The hose would allow it to run out the rear onto the ground instead of out the top of the battery box and all over your paint or frame.

Yeah, if you have a sealed (AMG) battery you don't need it. If you have a flooded cell battery with fill caps then there should be a manifold on top with a hose barb to connect the hose to.
