Ive decided to get rid of my bagger. I traded in my Road King which I loved so much, for a 2020 Road Glide S that I ended up building to a monster 128 with every possible upgrade imaginable. The Road Glide just never roped me in. I was going to pick up another King and start over but after riding my Dyna from upstate NY to Virginia and then from Orlando to SWFL I realized I was perfectly comfortable doing long hauls on my Dyna. Scott at Hillside guaranteed my 124 build would be just as, if not more reliable then stock, so I see no reason not to use it for longer distances where I would normally take a bagger.
So I think Ill go back to being a two-bike guy and not replace the bagger for a while. At least not until I retire lol.
The two things I would like to do for the Dyna to make it better for long hauls, would be a little more wind protection, and a touring seat I could swap out when needed. Seats easy, got my eye on a Corbin touring seat. On to the fairing.
My 2018+ quarter fairing looks great and does a good job for what it is, but after 3 hours or so you start to feel it. I was looking at QF styles with taller windshields like the MS Road Warrior, or the Russ Wernimont TXR fairing (which looks awesome and is my favorite so far) but I wanted to get opinions from anyone who has a longer distance fairing on a Dyna.

Thoughts?
I love the TXR fairing, itll probably be my next big purchase for the bike. Ive had a Krator, Road Warrior and now I have a V2H at paint. They all provide about the same level of wind protection on long hauls. I was dead set on the fxrt style fairings until I saw one in person. Im not a huge fan of the inner fairing portion. To me it just seems unfinished.
I think the TXR fairing has a very nice buttoned up look to it.
Once my fairing is done at paint Ill have a complete road warrior setup if you want to test drive it and see if its what youre looking for.

I'm a big fan of TSport style fairings. Between the eBay knockoff I had on my old Low Rider or the factory one on my TSport - they do a REALLY good job of blocking the wind IMO. Hardest part is figuring out how tall to go on the windshield. Being 6'2" on a good day I'm looking at upping to a 18" from the 15" it currently has.

Just ordered one of these with a Rockford Fosgate amp and Polk speakers. Hoping it sounds better than my 4" speakers with a Shark amp and it certainly looks better than my Krator.

Whered you order it from? No one seems to have any inventory
Just returned from a 1500 mile ride over 4 days, the last 300 nonstop on the interstate at 80 mph+, one stop for gas, on my '00 WG with detachable windshield. No fatigue at all, could have done it again the next day. Great job keeping the wind off me. And takes about 10 seconds to take off and put on when I get to where I'm going. Rubber soled shoes on rubber padded pegs helped too.
