Replacing Alternator. What else should I do while she's open?
Gotta replace the stator on my 50k mile 98 Evo. It's a bad time financially but while I've got her open I'd be crazy not to replace what's gonna break soon anyway. So guys, what should I do here? Remember, I am cash strapped right now (just started a new biz) so I *must* be frugal--but wise.
The bike was owned by a fairly conservative-riding lady before I bought it 20k miles ago. I'm moderately aggressive on the throttle. The bike puts out about 84HP / 86TQ (cam, heads, header). Here's a list to get your thinking going: -- clutch (just friction and steels or will she likely need more?) -- primary chain -- primary chain tensioner -- starter gear (sometimes makes real ugly sounds) -- other stuff? Thanks in advance! Z |

50,000 is probably a little early, but what about your drive belt?
