I really wish Lepera would update their website with some pics of the late model Dyna seats.... at least give us an indication they actually make them. I'm interested in a new 2-up, but probably wont get a Lepera just for that reason.
PsTaN
Did you notice the pics I posted up top? I received them from LePera. The one bike is actually a member's here, mojo, I believe. The website not being updated is what lead me to write them and ask the question about 06/07 Dynas.
Original ...
Guess I should clarify .... I wish they had pics of ALL of their seats . Seems like with the '08's hitting the floors they'd try and catch upon the website. It looksto be 2 years behind as far as the Dyna's are concerned.
PsTaN
Very true. I was wondering why they have not updated their website. I guess they are busy making and selling some nice looking seats.
This thread has got me interested if LaPera has some pics of a Daytona 2-Up for the 06-later Dyna's. I think I'll drop them a line and see if they have any pics of their 2-up seats they can send me/us. I really like the looks of the C&C Sport Tour, but would likesee a LaPera2-Up on a bike.
Sandifer showed me a picture and I ordered it for my '05 FXDCI. Got it from Dennis Kirk for $170.99 with free shipping. It will be here next Monday.
I go for the looks......when I go on long trips I usually stop every 150 to 200 miles for a smoke break and a cold drink anyway for about 15 minutes(of course, I'm an old guy, so I need to do that more then you young guysdo).
The looks are superior...........as sandifer said "that slammed look"
I got the bare bones today from UPS and it took all of about 3 minutes to install. great design, great fit, great quality.
Went for a ride for about 45 minutes and about 20 miles mostly city streets and rush hour traffic.
Houston is first in many ways, first domed stadium, first PBS station, most number of poorly maintained streets, most potholes, most uneven concrete streets.
My opinion is that I could handle this seat without any problem on a long ride like to Dallas (240 mi.), but the potholes and repaired spots locallyare tough on my ***.
Long distance fine - bar hopping not good.
BUT, it really looks good on my scoot..........it is a nice slammed look.
I'll take pictures tomorrow or Wednesday and add them to my personal album at "flickr:"
I think the seat looks great and after 3 days, I am use to it and really like the ride and comfort. It was a good choice. Thanks to all that helped me decide on this seat.
i ran a lepera king cobra on my old sporty, and i must say i loved the look but hated the feel. also dont get caught in the rain, because those seats absorb water like a sponge. just my 2 cents, if you are happy then enjoy.

RE: LePera Bare Bones for 06+ Dyna
I finally bit the bullet and ordered one. I hope it sits me back like everyone says because I always find myself sitting on the back lip of the stock HD solo and the HD brawler. Now the wait and see if UPS shows today game[&o].
Nice looking seat! As soon as I can find a good deal on one (anyone notice any sales lately?) I am going to order it right away. Thanks for the heads up - I've never seen this seat before...
