I recently purchased a used 05 dyna super from the local HD dealer. I, of course, was excited and could not wait to get it on the road and feel the wind. Upon reaching speeds of 65mph i picked up a serious wobble.. It was so bad i had to slow down lower than 45 for it to stop so that i could proceed. I took it back to the dealer and they sang me the song of loose spokes and dry bearing in the triple trees, will only take a few minutes. I waited for 3 hours [:@] and they told me they would have to keep it overnight. I went and picked it up the next day and no one could tell me what was wrong with the bike. Do you suppose they are trying to cover something up and if so could i have a potential lemon on my hands????

just curious, didn't they write a repair order and give you a copy of it with the repair completed? to grease the upper/lower fork bearings the forks need to be removed, triple trees taken of and bearings removed to be greased and everything put back together, the front wheel usually comes off to tighten the spokes and check for rim trueness/runout. you should have a conversation withthe service manager to see what was done. how many miles on your ride? ride safe.

SeniorsuperglideE8 has a good question. No ticket is a Red Flag that they might not be telling you everything. Any more issues, dig your cleats in and make them document everything. It might not mean anything, but then again...
