Windshield's
 

Looking to get a windshield for a 07 FXDL. Hate the handle bar mounted and looking for a quick release that does not leave any hardware on the tubes. The HD quick release are pricey, but are the only ones I found. Any suggestions?

I've got the Harley one and it a great product.It is on and off in a flash and has been problem free for several years.

Here is mine with the quick release windshield standard size. I can see over it when riding. Its important.

i use the harley quick release and love it. i dont usally use a windshield unless its cold out or traveling. i also installed a windshield stereo system to it, that i make. so i have tumes, when i do decide to use the shield. best part takes 2 seconds to install and uninstall, awesomefor traveling. jackyl

I have the HD QD compact low. I like it a lot. Very easy on/off.
Problem is, it only seems to get taken off to clean the bike:)

Another vote for the Harley compact. Got mine the beginning of November. Makes cold temperature riding a lot more tolerable. There is some buffeting but it is an insignifcant amount compared to the benefits.

Had several shields, including the HD ones, and I currently have a Memphis Shades, and I believe that they offer the most B A N G for the buck, not to mention color if you want.

I had a HD Quick Release for a short while.
For me it didn't provide the protection I thought
it should for being such a large shield.
I now have a Memphis Sport Shield which protects
just as well as the large shield did without being so huge.
The little bit of hardware left behind is not that big of a deal.

Thanks all for the feedback. Needed to hear what you thought of the HD Quick-Release Detachable Compact Windshield, and think I’m going with it. As Jackyl said, I need it for the cold and for trips. Just a bit cold in NY. domenicp7, scoot looks great and I can see how it will look on my low. Enjoy the rest of turkey day
